When I started looking into some of the finer points of how my Hugo site looked, I had a few post formatting questions:

• Why does the sub-header look different in the post listing and page view?
• Why do the date posted and tags not appear in the page view but do in the post listing?

As I have been exploring Kubernetes (k8s), I have run into a number of resources that I wish I had read in a different order. Below are my recommendations for getting started with Kubernetes.

@kamalmarhubi published his “What even is a kubelet”, the first of three posts on Kubernetes (k8s), in summer of 2015 which introduced basic components of the container orchestration platform one at a time. This is my attempt to update and extend the topic with my own observations and include additional references I have found useful while trying to get my head around Kubernetes.

As mentioned in my Pip Permissions post, when I upgraded past Hugo v0.28 I noticed that Chroma was now preferred over Pygments. Eventually, I tried tackling the migration.

After a few conversations with coworker, I found myself seeing possible uses for tmux in my workflows - in particular for working on Hugo. That led to thoughts of scripting tmux with tmuxinator and making it pretty with Powerline.
